Matthew Liptak, is Principal of Resume by Recruiter, LLC and has over 25 years combined experience with Recruiting, Human Resources and the Job Search and Hiring Process. He served in the United States Marine Corps for 12 years with a majority of time spent as a Senior Recruiter and Career Counselor. He was discharged in 2001 and started working directly for a start-up Staffing Agency in downtown Boston as an Executive Recruiter for Accounting and Finance candidates. He then moved to two other Staffing Firms, working as a Senior Technical Recruiter (Randstad and The Judge Group). He has placed a variety of candidates into temporary and permanent positions in several industries for companies such as: Mass General Hospital, Kayem Foods, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Raytheon, General Dynamics, National Grid, Suffolk Construction, MIT Lincoln Labs, Sepracor, Lucent, Hasbro, Genzyme, Biogen, Abbott Labs, Gillette, Millipore, Invensys and Amgen amongst others. After 5 years with these firms, he moved to the Corporate Recruiting side as a Senior Recruiter staffing various levels of candidates.  He worked in the Human Resources Department for: American Power Conversion Corporation, Adidas/Reebok International Ltd., Shawmut Construction, Nuance Communications, IBM/Unica Corporation, Millipore Corporation and Aspen Technology. He currently works full time as a Manager, Global Talent Acquisition for Veracode, Inc. His professional training includes: Advanced Behavioral Interviewing, Resume Creation/Analysis, Career Advisement and Planning, Human Resources Process Improvement, Organizational Change Management, Presentation and Selling Skills, Salary Negotiations and Social Media/Networking. Matthew knows how to get a positive response from a resume with experience viewing  50-100 resumes daily and assisting hiring managers with their difficult staffing challenges. Matthew can help candidates with formats and styles to get results from the hiring authority. He has revitalized resumes, coached candidates in preparation for phone and in person interviews and taught job search strategy  for professionals ranging from entry level to executives in various disciplines spanning across several industries and corporate climates. His company was started with the sole intention of providing  reasonably priced services to job seekers in need of better search strategies.
